In the year 2138, virtual reality gaming is booming. Yggdrasil, a popular online game is quietly shut down one day. However, one player named Momonga decides to not log out. Momonga is then transformed into the image of a skeleton as “the most powerful wizard.” The world continues to change, with non-player characters (NPCs) beginning to feel emotion. Having no parents, friends, or place in society, this ordinary young man Momonga then strives to take over the new world the game has become.

One of the best in it’s category, ever released. The best TV show online? This is an answer that has changed many times in my life and will probably change more often, but for now, Overlord I was so emotionally destroyed that I saw the entire TV show three times on the internet almost in one go.

There are some stages in this TV series that I will remember them until death. The story is really solid, the pacing is great, and all of the actors give great performances. This TV series online seriously is incredible. My favorite TV series of this director, and that’s saying something!
